Dr. Daisy Chemaly is an oral and maxillofacial surgeon from Toronto. She practices the full scope of the specialty of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. She received her Doctorat en Medecine Dentaire with honours from Laval University. She pursued her surgical residency at the University of Manitoba and obtained her Master of Dentistry thesis degree in Oral Cancer. She then elected to further her knowledge in jaw surgery as well as cleft lip and palate and completed a fellowship at the Centre Hospitalier de Nantes, France.
Dr. Chemaly was recognized with numerous awards for her clinical and academic achievements. After her training, Dr. Chemaly then returned to Toronto, where she taught at the Undergraduate dental clinic and established a private practice. Dr. Chemaly is on staff at the Peterborough Regional Hospital and Sault Area Hospital.
Dr. Chemaly has published many articles. She is a Fellow of, and an examiner for, the Royal College of Dentists of Canada in her specialty, and is the past president of the Ontario Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
